THE ARCHITECTURE
OF PURE LIGHT
For seven decades, our sanctuary of master optics in Geneva and Tokyo has pursued a single uncompromising objective: capturing light without distortion, color shift, or resolution decay.
Synthesizing Raw Fluorite
Unlike conventional glass elements, OPTICA-X optics rely on synthetic fluorite crystals grown inside vacuum induction furnaces at 1,400°C over a 90-day cycle.
This rare crystal structure exhibits zero secondary spectrum aberration, giving our anamorphic lenses their signature razor clarity and natural skin tones.
Sub-Micron Titanium Sculpting
Every camera body begins as a 28kg block of solid Grade-5 Aerospace Titanium. Over 86 hours of continuous 5-axis CNC laser milling, the block is carved into a seamless 3.2kg unibody skeleton.
The resulting chassis guarantees thermal variance of less than 0.002mm between -40°C arctic shoots and +70°C desert environments.
Artisan Hand Calibration
No computer automated assembly line can replace the trained hand of a Takumi master optician. Each set of OPTICA-X primes undergoes 14 days of individual laser collimation and hand-tinting.
Every lens element is paired for matching flare characteristics, ensuring seamless inter-changeability across multi-camera Hollywood sets.
The Masterpiece Complete
When the final titanium bayonet ring is torqued and sealed under argon gas, an OPTICA-X instrument is born. Built to outlast digital formats and inspire generations of filmmakers.
